Start with what the game actually publishes about rebirth

Rebirth is real, and the evidence for it is one word. "Rebirth" is one of the tags on the official Roblox game page, sitting alongside Pets, Speed, Fast, Collect, Rainbow, Colorful, Stars and Simulator. That tag is the entire official record on the subject. The same page's description says to train to gain speed, win races to earn eggs and use pets to earn cash, and it notes that updates land every Saturday. It never states a rebirth requirement, a rebirth reward, or what a rebirth costs.

So this page will not give you a Cash target, a speed threshold or a multiplier. Those numbers are not published anywhere, and a site quoting an exact figure is quoting a guess. What we can hand you is the decision procedure: once you know your own cash per minute and the price of your next upgrade, you can reason about whether rebirthing now beats pushing one more upgrade, even without knowing the size of the reward.

Our own progression ranking places rebirth at B tier, sixth of six. That is not a judgement that rebirth is bad. It is the observation that rebirth is a step you take when your own numbers say so, not a move you make first.

Treat the trade-off as the only thing you can reason about

Rebirth, by the convention the tag implies and by our own reading of it, trades something about your current run for something permanent, almost certainly a multiplier of some kind. We say "our reading" deliberately. The developer has not stated what resets, what is kept, or what the permanent change actually is, and a tag cannot carry that information.

The safe assumption, then, is that anything you cannot re-earn quickly is at risk. Before you press anything, record your position so you can compare afterwards against a written number rather than a memory.

Equally, do not take another player's "it wiped my pets" claim as fact. Treat it as a possibility to plan around, not as a rule the game has stated. The gap between what players report and what the developer publishes is exactly the gap this page refuses to fill with invention.

  1. Screenshot your current Cash total before committing.
  2. Screenshot the pets you have placed, and note which egg each came from if you know.
  3. Note your egg count and any eggs you have not hatched.
  4. Write down your measured bare speed and the date you measured it.
  5. Afterwards, compare the new state against those records and re-measure your cash per minute.

Measure your cash per minute before you think about rebirth

A rebirth decision is a cash decision, and the only input you reliably own is your own cash per minute, measured in your own account. The full method lives in the Cash and Upgrades guide; the short form is: place the pets you intend to keep placed, write down your Cash, play or idle for a fixed 60 seconds, write it down again, subtract, and repeat three times so you can take the middle reading.

Write the figure down with the date attached. The game updates every Saturday, and pets, slots or passes you have added since your last measurement will have moved the number. A rate you measured last month is not automatically your rate today.

If your measured rate is climbing quickly, that is itself an argument for waiting. Your earning power is growing, so a rebirth taken today locks in a decision made with a weaker account than the one you will have next week. The stronger the account you rebirth from, the cheaper the reset is in real time.

Turn your next upgrade into minutes, not Cash

The comparison that matters is not rebirth against nothing. It is rebirth against the next upgrade you could otherwise buy. Find the price of the next thing on your list, whether that is a pet slot, a dice purchase or another push at a boss, then divide it by your cash per minute. The result is minutes of earning, which is a quantity you can actually feel.

Example, hypothetical by construction: suppose you had measured 12,000 Cash per minute and the next upgrade on your list cost 100,000 Cash. That upgrade is about eight and a third minutes of income. If a hypothetical rebirth would need more than eight minutes at your new, higher rate to justify the progress you gave up, then waiting for the upgrade first is the better order. The figures are invented to show the arithmetic; the arithmetic is the part worth copying with your own measured rate and the real price.

Do this division for the next two or three purchases on your list, so you know exactly how much runway you would be handing over by resetting now.

Use the honest test for rebirthing now

The test is simple to state. Estimate the time rebirth costs you to re-reach your current position at your current rate. Estimate the time it saves afterwards by raising that rate. If the saving is larger than the cost, rebirth is ahead. If the cost is larger, push the next upgrade first and run the test again later.

The hard part is that you cannot know the saving, because the reward is unpublished. The practical version of the test is therefore a commitment rule: do not rebirth while a cheap upgrade that raises your rate is still available. Cheap upgrades pay back in minutes, and they raise the rate you would be rebirthing from. Rebirth last, once the cheap wins are used up.

If you do decide to go, pick a natural stopping point. Right after a Saturday update is the cleanest moment: the build has just changed, you have a fresh session ahead of you, and you can spend a full run re-measuring honestly instead of guessing at your new rate late at night.

Know what the tag does and does not promise

A tag tells you a feature exists. It does not tell you its size, its cost, or whether it is repeatable once or fifty times. The official tag set lists Rebirth once, and the description text does not mention it at all. So "rebirth exists in Race for Eggs" is an official fact, and almost every sentence beginning "rebirth gives you" is, at best, reported by somebody.

We would rather print one honest paragraph than a confident table. If the developer publishes a rebirth requirement or a reward, in the shop, on the game page or in a Saturday update, we will report it with the source and the date, and this page will change the same day. Until then, treat any exact rebirth number you read elsewhere as a guess wearing a number's clothing.

That is not a criticism of players who repeat those numbers in good faith. It is a warning that the number changed hands somewhere without its evidence attached, and a number without a source cannot be checked.

Re-check the page after each Saturday update

The game updates every Saturday according to its own official description, and the Roblox games API records each new build timestamp as a fact. Rebirth terms, if they are ever published, would appear on one of those builds. Our updates page tracks the timestamps without guessing at what any build contained.

When a Saturday build lands, the check takes a minute: open the in-game shop, look for a rebirth entry that states a requirement and a reward, and compare it with what this page says. If the two disagree, trust the game over us, then tell us so we can fix the page.

We do not reconstruct patch notes for this game, because the developer does not publish a changelog. Any line-by-line "what changed this week" list you see for Race for Eggs has been reconstructed by somebody, and reconstructed rebirth details are exactly the kind of content this wiki exists to avoid.

Race for Eggs guide: common questions

What does rebirth give me in Race for Eggs?

The developer has not published a rebirth reward. Rebirth is one of the game's official tags, so the feature exists, but no published source states what it grants, how large any multiplier is, or whether it can be repeated. We do not fill that gap with a guess.

How much Cash or speed do I need to rebirth?

That is not published. Race for Eggs states no rebirth requirement of any kind, in Cash or in speed, and no threshold appears on the game page or in the shop tile we can read. If another site quotes an exact requirement, it is unverified.

Does rebirth reset my pets, eggs or Cash?

Not published. The game does not state what a rebirth resets or keeps, so plan as though anything you cannot re-earn quickly is at risk. Record your Cash, placed pets, egg count and speed before you commit, so you can compare afterwards against real numbers.

Is rebirth worth doing at all?

Our progression ranking puts rebirth at B tier, last of six. It is a step you take once no cheap rate-raising upgrade is left and your own measured cash per minute says the reset pays back, not a first move. Measure first; the method is in the Cash and Upgrades guide.

Will rebirthing raise my race speed?

Unknown. No published source connects rebirth to race speed. The official description links speed to training and Cash to pets, and says nothing about rebirth at all. Treat any claim that rebirth raises your speed as unverified until the game states it.

How will I know if rebirth terms change?

The game updates every Saturday. We re-check the official page and the API build timestamp, and if a requirement or reward is ever published we will cite it with a date. Until then, this page keeps saying "not published" rather than filling the space.
